DC Shoes Core Skate Book
Marketing material to promote DC Shoes range for Autumn-Winter, 2024.
Each season DC Shoes releases a new range of shoes and apparel that speaks to mainstream skateboarding and streetwear trends. This includes any brand collaborations, brand highlights and special projects.
To make sure the public sees the new collection, sales representatives sell the range to stores.
As part of the DC Shoes Asia Pacific Wholesale team, I was requested to make a ‘Core Skate’ book to bring a skate focused presentation to our core skate accounts.
Using assets provided by the global marketing team, I brought the ‘Core Skate’ book to life.
It took a suite of software to complete the book.
I dissected vector logos in Illustrator, augmented photos in Photoshop, and composed each page in InDesign. These programs, as well as a range of in-house asset management systems (PIM, DAM and Elastic Suite) helped me bring this together.
Fifty copies were printed and bound by local bespoke print and design studio, Burleigh Print & Design.
Then, when the sales reps hit the road, they travelled with copies to distribute to wholesale accounts across the country.
