‘Food Yields Community’ is their message and it’s how they bring people together.

Loop Growers, run by Alice and Phil, is a bio-intensive market garden located in the beautiful Samford Valley, just north of Brisbane. They have fostered a community that’s excited about local produce through collaborative events with their partners.

As marketing material for the upcoming event; a farm tour and picnic, this graphic was created. I photographed their produce for reference, studied their forms, drew them and added hand lettering. The design was then brought into Adobe Illustrator to fine tune and make it ready for print. The foliage depicted here include curly kale, silver beet and sunflower leaves.

My involvement didn’t stop there. We then contacted a local screen printer to make a number of tote bags for the event.

The photo shoot was a collaboration between Loop Growers, myself and our mutual creative friend. The photos were used to promote the farm tour and help spread the ethos ‘Food Yields Community’.
