Tall Trees Website Build

Nestled at the base of Mt Tallebudgera, Tall Trees needed a simple, timeles website to promote the venue.

As the touchpoint for many new and existing clients, the website needed to reflect Dannielle and Damian’s quirky nature and display the property in its best light. My colleague and I were both enlisted to carry out this exciting project. You can check out the website here.

Designed with the user in mind, the website serves as a virtual gateway to the venue. A number of elements were essential to include on the website, which conveniently translated to menu headings; Our Story; Weddings & Events; Gallery; Testimonials; Media and; Contact.

Supplied with copy, images and footage, we were able to tell a different part of the Tall Trees story through each page.

To elevate and add personality to the website, I created additional custom content. The first is a 25 second montage of the best, short clips taken at events held on the property, and greets you as you scroll down on the homepage. The video ends with a dissected logo animation I built from scratch in Adobe After Effects.

The second piece of content is a detailed map of the venue space, complete with a legend, scale and compass. The map came out clean, legible and fit in with the website theme. Adobe Illustrator was the primary tool used for drawing up the map.

Dannielle and Damian were very pleased with the end result. They now have a stunning, functional website that they were excited to share with clients and vendors.
